From a little girl growing up in her grandparent's antique mall in Houston, Kelly has always had a desire to see old things become new. Whether that was arranging and rearranging furniture or taking old pieces off the floor and fixing them up to sell, Kelly has always had a vision for transformation and what things could be. After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in Leadership and Development and four years of playing volleyball for the Fightin' Texas Aggies, Kelly became a teacher and varsity volleyball coach. After a successful 9 years in the classroom and on the court, Kelly has found a way to pursue her passion for making old things new by founding Born Again Home - an interior design studio in the greater Austin, Texas area that focuses on residential design.
Through Kelly's unparalleled vision for what things could be, she is able to create spaces for her clients that are not only functional, but truly a piece of art. Her ability to mix a myriad of styles creates aesthetically pleasing masterpieces that are both beautiful and timeless. No space is alike and every space Kelly touches tells a story making each project simply breathtaking.
Kelly lives in Spicewood, Texas with her husband, three boys, cat, and German Shepherd. Kelly and Mike serve as deacons at their church (Hope Rock Church at Lake Travis) and Kelly leads a "She Battles" bible study Monday mornings. She has also written a study guide on the book of Galatians and updates her blog when God lays something on her heart. Kelly is passionate about seeing old things become new whether that's in physical dwellings or spiritual ones. Her biggest achievement in life will always be accepting the free gift of grace through faith in her Lord, Jesus Christ.
